Covid-19 continues to be a barrier for citizens to safely convene and candidates to campaign, which is why key partners have combined forces to provide the community virtual and live-streamed access to candidates, their plans, and their platforms.
The community members of Delaware County and the sixth congressional district are invited to participate in a series of forums with local, state, and federal candidates.
All candidates have been invited and encouraged to participate in the forums, which will be moderated by Dr. Chip Taylor of the Bowen Center for Public Affairs.
The forums will be live-streamed via Zoom video conferencing technology and broadcast on Facebook by WLBC.

In 2016, our last general election, voter turnout in Delaware County was 51%, and the median voter turnout in District 6’s 19 counties was 53%. That means roughly half of the registered voters in our communities did not vote in the last general election.
