Shafer Leadership Academy Announces Next Level Leadership Program

July 10, 2015 – Muncie, IN – Shafer Leadership Academy is excited to launch a new leadership program this fall entitled Allegiance: Next Level Leadership. This five-week program is perfect for Emergence alumni or experienced leaders who want to take their leadership skills to the next level especially in relation to leading others. This program will be added to the academy’s Core Program lineup and will be held at the Innovation Connector in Muncie, Indiana.

Allegiance is designed for individuals who have a passion for leading others and want to be more effective in building relationships, creating vision, and developing the people around them. This course is a highly interactive and engaging training opportunity where participants will learn in a cohort setting creating actionable learning and lifelong colleagues. This program is ideal for individuals that have already gained a better understanding of their personal leadership style and motivations.  We will take time to recap vital skills that were shared during Emergence.  At the end of this program, participants can expect to be more effective at building a team that surpasses expectations and creates a positive difference in the businesses, nonprofits, civic groups, or communities they represent.

The inaugural class of Allegiance will be presented over the following five dates and times.

Session 1             September 30th                12:00pm to 5:00pm
Session 2             October 7th                        5:00pm to 8:00pm
Session 3             October 14th                      5:00pm to 8:00pm
Session 4             October 20th                      5:00pm to 8:00pm
Session 5             October 28th                      12:00pm to 5:00pm

The registration deadline for this course is Friday, September 11th, 2015. Individuals wishing to apply for a scholarship must apply by July 31st. Standard tuition is $500, but scholarships are available to those that qualify. To register or learn more about Allegiance, visit or call 765-748-0403.
